A luxurious and silky soft answer for keeping warm, our cashmere is woven from the super fine coat of the Mongolian cashmere goat. Their hair is used to create some of the world’s most valuable garments and is famous for its natural insulating properties. Separated from the goat’s protective outer layer, the downy wool fibres are sorted by hand. Cashmere is finer, stronger, lighter, softer and approximately three times more insulating than sheep’s wool!
Based in Edinburgh, The Tartan Blanket Co. is continuing the Scottish tartan tradition with modern colourways and designs. All its blankets are fully-sustainable, made using natural wool and cashmere by mills in Scotland and worldwide.
